Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Staff Neonatologist within the Department of Paediatrics at a leading academic health science centre. This role is integral to the provision of exceptional neonatal clinical care, education, and research.

Departmental Excellence:

The Department of Paediatrics is renowned for its commitment to high-quality neonatal care and is closely associated with obstetric services. It offers both primary and specialized tertiary care for newborns, including advanced services for infants with congenital conditions.

Training and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine and have substantial experience at the Assistant Professor level or higher. A strong academic background coupled with excellence in clinical practice is essential.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will engage in various clinical settings, including:

  • Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Mother and Baby Unit
  • Antenatal Clinic
  • Neonatal Follow-up Clinic

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold an MD, MBBS, or equivalent, with completed specialty training in Pediatric Medicine. Eligibility for certification by the relevant professional body and licensure with the local medical regulatory authority is required.
