The Department of Paediatrics has a distinguished history of providing primary and tertiary care for newborns, along with specialized services for infants with congenital conditions. It collaborates closely with other prominent institutions to offer a comprehensive Fellowship Training Program in Neonatology, accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine.
- 5-7 years of experience at the Assistant Professor level or a higher academic rank.
- A demonstrated commitment to academic excellence and clinical practice.
This role involves responsibilities in various clinical settings, including Level 3 NICU, Mother and Baby Unit, antenatal clinic, and Neonatal Follow-up clinic.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold an MD, MBBS, or equivalent, with specialty training in Pediatric Medicine. Eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or comparable qualifications is essential. Candidates should also be eligible for licensure with the relevant medical regulatory authority.
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, group insurance, pension plan, vision care, and an academic allowance.
