Culinary Operations Supervisor

Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a supervisory role within food services
This position is based in a hotel, motel, or resort setting, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Train staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
- Estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit operational reports
- Compile food order summaries for the chef
- Oversee the assembly of meal trays
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff
This role includes supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Security and Safety RequirementsA basic security clearance is required for this position.
