As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department. This position requires a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in food service management.
- Manage the procurement of food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficiency.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Develop and implement work schedules for kitchen staff.
- Possession of a Responsible Beverage Service Certificate is preferred.
This role is set in a fast-paced environment that demands adaptability and strong communication skills.
Personal Attributes- Excellent oral communication skills are essential.
