Job Title: Maintenance Worker - Hotel and Resort

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel and resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt from our facilities.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a beautiful outdoor space.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
