Personal Support Worker Opportunity

At RT Medical, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional care services that cater to the unique needs of our patients and customers. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes or care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities, promoting socialization and engagement
  • Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring clients' nutritional needs are met
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Provide respite care, allowing primary caregivers to take a break
  • Remind clients to take their medication, promoting adherence to treatment plans
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands, ensuring timely access to medical care
  • Collaborate with clients' healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Updated immunization records, including a recent tuberculosis test
  • Clear criminal background check and Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
