Job Summary

RT Medical is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities, promoting physical and mental well-being
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Assist with medication reminders and management
  • Provide respite care to primary caregivers, allowing them to take a break
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized training program
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Updated immunization records and a clear criminal background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
