Job Title: Personal Support Worker - North

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Personal Support Worker to join our team at Hogarth Riverview Manor. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our elderly clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Support clients with their medication management and administration
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities and programs that promote their physical and emotional well-being
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker certificate
  • Experience working with elderly clients
  • Experience in a long-term care home preferred
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Condition of Employment:

  • This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
  • Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the policy or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. If proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption is not provided, the offer of employment is rescinded.
