Job Title: Personal Support Worker

At RT Medical, we're committed to providing high-quality care services to support our patients and customers in their health and wellness needs. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to individuals in their homes or care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients on outings and exercise activities
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Provide respite care for primary caregivers
  • Remind clients about medication and appointments
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting and mobility
Requirements:
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to lift 50lbs independently and assist clients with standing, walking, and sitting
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months
  • Clear criminal background check and Vulnerable Sector check
