Key Responsibilities- Provide daily care and supervision to children and youth, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
- Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Assist children with personal hygiene and grooming.
- Plan and participate in activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, routines, and interests.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation and agency policies and procedures.
- Child Care Worker or Child & Youth Worker Diploma or higher.
- 1-2 years of experience in a group home setting or related child care experience.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle with OPCF6A Insurance endorsement and minimum of $1,000,000 Liability.
- Satisfactory internal record check, Criminal record check (including vulnerable sector), and driver's abstract.
