We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Home Worker to join our team at Kenora Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and direct supervision to children placed in a staffed resource unit. They will create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes positive development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily care and direct supervision to children in a staffed resource unit
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes positive development and well-being
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Child Care Worker or Child & Youth Worker Diploma or higher
- 1-2 years of experience in a group home setting or related child care experience
- Current certification in 1st Aid/CPR/AED
- Trained in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Must be medically fit to work in a group home setting with proof of immunizations
