We have an immediate need for a Site Manager at a large government facility in Kingston, ON.
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of contracted janitorial services and leading a team of Shift Supervisors, Lead Hands and Janitorial staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with the client, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis, providing quotes for additional requests and promoting a service-oriented culture.
- Working with the HR department, provide site-level oversight of employee recruitment, hiring, training and development, coaching and discipline.
- Manage site payroll including compliance with use of time and attendance systems, assisting supervisors to track requests for vacation, sick days, personal days, and expense reimbursement.
- Preparing shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements ensuring the efficient delivery of services.
- Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years' experience working within the facility services industry including three years in a management or supervisory role.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools.
- Federal Government Security Clearance and Criminal Record Check.
- G Class Driver's License.
