Job DescriptionThe Middle Office teams at CPP Investments are responsible for executing public market-based strategies in an effective and efficient manner. The Project Coordinator, New Products & Activities (NP&A), will provide quality support and project coordination to the NP&A team as they work to successfully complete the on-boarding of new products and/or activities while adhering to established governance and operating standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and/or enhance a suite of reporting metrics for senior management and key stakeholders to drive analysis and decision-making related to the team's activities.
- Maintain and/or develop project plans and kanban boards, ensuring all related tasks and issues are documented and assigned for resolution, where needed.
- Schedule, lead, and document the team's daily scrums, as well as schedule various meetings related to the delivery of each initiative.
- Assist in drafting initiative requirements, test scripts, and implementation summaries.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or a similar role.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Tableau, MS Co-Pilot, and PowerPoint.
- Completed or working towards certifications such as CFA, PMP, Six Sigma, or Scrum Master.
- Progressive career development and demonstrable investment product understanding and/or experience with product delivery/project coordination, preferably with a focus on global markets and related asset classes.
- Demonstrable experience with identifying value-add/process efficiency opportunities and participation in implementation of same.
- Proven ability to structure communications, both written and verbal, to raise and resolve issues across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated, agile, and the ability to approach a constantly changing business needs through innovation and creativity.
