About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our team at Ontario Municipal Social Services Association. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our social services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of social services professionals to provide high-quality services to our clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, community partners, and stakeholders to advance our mission
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of funds and optimal outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making and drive innovation
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in non-profit management, social services, or public administration
  • Proven track record of leading teams and achieving results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of intimate partner violence, gender-based violence, and systemic factors that impact women's safety and security
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
