AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including provisioning of compute, storage, network, and security.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications and services.
- Monitor cloud systems for performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Respond to incidents or alerts and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
- 5+ years of professional experience in an IT role.
- Certification in AWS cloud solution foundations.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, network, and security.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, including the use of microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Functional familiarity with cloud-based security concepts, such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Functional understanding of cloud-based automation and management tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
