Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services that align with our organizational needs and drive the evolution of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce cloud security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational assets and data.
- Collaborate with vendor partners, IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure cloud infrastructure meets diverse requirements.
- Guarantee that all solutions demonstrate high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability upon deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT team members, including cloud engineers and administrators.
- Act as a cloud advocate to business units, IT teams, and external collaborators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in an IT role.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based architectures, particularly on the AWS platform, covering cloud storage, networking, security, and compute.
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible.
- Functional understanding of cloud automation and orchestration tools, including Jenkins or Kubernetes.
- Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Experience in industries related to industrial product design, manufacturing, and aftermarket services is a plus.
- Experience in developing integrated solutions for Salesforce, SAP, O365, and PLM environments is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop plans, take ownership of tasks, and focus on delivery.
- Excellent leadership and presentation skills, comfortable addressing both large and small audiences.
- Proficiency in English and French, both verbal and written.
