Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Elmwood Burgers Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food and service meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
