Position Overview: As a Project Management Services Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Manager while collaborating closely with the Assistant Project Manager. Your focus will be on overseeing various aspects of high-rise construction management, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination and participation in site and construction meetings, maintaining comprehensive notes and distributing them to relevant parties.
  • Facilitate effective communication among Head Office Staff, Site personnel, Consultants, and Trades to ensure timely project outcomes.
  • Engage in regular meetings with the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager to provide updates on task progress and support project coordination through design, permitting, and construction phases.
  • Organize, sort, and maintain Project Files and Records, collecting data and preparing reports for benchmarking and recommendations.
  • Document construction progress meticulously, including shop drawings, site instructions, change orders, and other significant project events.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications for contractors to guarantee adherence to construction plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry is advantageous but not mandatory; hands-on training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project.
