We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Carpet Plus Flooring. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and develop plans to ensure timely completion.
- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including apprentices and contractors.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communication: Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including production and other relevant metrics.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Construction industry experience is essential.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and to adapt to changing project requirements.
