Job Title: Marine Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Project Engineer to join our team at NSB | Omega. As a Marine Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the execution of marine operations for the West White Rose Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the completion of dredging operations in Argentia, including technical and project management support to all activities.
  • Provide input and support to the Cenovus Regulatory team in obtaining necessary permits.
  • Manage interfaces between Dredging Contractor and the CGS Construction Contractor, primarily supporting technical queries between the Contractors during onshore construction and reclamation works.
  • Support the preparations for the 2025 installation of the CGS and Topsides for West White Rose, including providing input and support to the Cenovus Regulatory team.
  • Review and comment on behalf of the Client on contractor's technical reports, and installation procedures/manuals.
  • Support the close-out of HIRA actions prior to the commencement for all marine scopes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering Degree such as Civil, GeoTechnical, or Ocean.
  • Qualifications to register as a P.Eng. with PEGNL.
  • Years of experience as a project engineer in the offshore oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in the dredging operations, including land reclamation, would be considered an asset.
  • Understanding of HSEQ, risk management, and interface management processes.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
