Position Overview:

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the branch, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and collaborating with the Operations Manager and department heads. This role involves monitoring performance objectives and making strategic decisions to achieve branch goals. The Branch Manager will also focus on developing a skilled team and maintaining a strong customer base while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to internal staff, ensuring effective collaboration towards shared objectives.
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and that training programs are regularly updated.
  • Drive sales growth by coaching and motivating sales and support teams.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction aligns with the required operational standards.
  • Participate in customer interactions for sales and technical support as needed.
  • Assist in warehouse and facility planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships and strategic planning.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and product training initiatives.
  • Resolve disputes involving customers, staff, and the company.
  • Expand business opportunities and maintain existing relationships.
  • Conduct outside sales activities, including regular customer visits.
  • Manage inside sales personnel and administrative functions.
  • Establish sales projections and monitor progress throughout the fiscal year.
  • Lead weekly sales meetings and address personnel issues as they arise.
  • Represent the company within the local and industry community.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a sales or distribution setting.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • A College or University Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a Technical field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • Previous management experience is essential.
