About the Position:

Lambton College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nursing Professor to join our Faculty of Nursing. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your professional expertise to provide a dynamic learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching theory, experiential learning lab, and clinical courses in community and/or institutional settings. You will also be expected to develop and revise programs and courses, define and evaluate learning outcomes, and create assessments and rubrics.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Nursing
  • 5 years recent clinical experience in acute care, long term care, and/or community care settings
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Previous teaching experience at a post-secondary academic level
  • Experience utilizing simulation strategies in teaching is preferred
