Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers responsible for the functionality of all electrical, cabin management, and communication systems, including lighting, audio/video entertainment, appliances, cameras, and security.
- Plan, oversee, coordinate, and prioritize activities to meet departmental quality, schedule, and budget goals.
- Provide technical guidance to team members to fulfill program requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with other engineering departments, internal and external clients, and major partners/suppliers to ensure efficient task management.
- Maintain visibility on project execution, issues, and escalations as necessary to your supervisor.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay informed about advancements in Cabin Interior Systems.
- Support manpower planning and budget preparation activities.
- Manage team performance and development while demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or avionics engineering from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with JCDP, JDP, PDR, CDR, certification, testing, and entry into service processes.
Skills:
- Proven leadership abilities, strong analytical skills, flexibility, initiative, and the capacity to work independently.
- Availability for urgent technical issues during evenings, weekends, and seasonal shutdowns.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English (written and verbal).
