About Bombardier
The cabin interior systems integration team for the Global and Challenger families of business jets is a dynamic group that ensures the proper operation of all electrical, cabin management, and telecommunications systems. This encompasses lighting systems, audio and video entertainment, appliances, cameras, and security systems, all aimed at providing an exceptional flying experience in a Global or Challenger aircraft.
Your Contributions to the Team:
- Review, analyze, and comprehend client specification documents;
- Define and design the configuration of cabin systems;
- Produce and validate the electrical definition documentation for systems such as electrical schematics;
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
- Define and conduct functional and robustness tests of systems on test benches to evaluate interfaces and ensure the highest product quality under all conditions;
- Ensure and document compliance with aircraft certification regulations;
- Support production aircraft by diagnosing and swiftly resolving anomalies;
- Maintain a creative and innovative mindset to identify improvements in our current practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
How to Thrive in This Role? Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- A university degree in electrical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
- Over 10 years of experience; cabin systems experience is a plus.
- Experience with technical business aircraft interiors.
- Experience dealing with suppliers.
- Experience in the design or integration of complex electrical systems.
- Experience working with electrical schematics, test environments, and debugging electrical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCad or relevant electrical conceptual software.
- Self-motivated, a team player, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess strong project management skills.
- Good communication skills in both French and English.
- Demonstrate initiative, accountability for actions, and sound technical judgment.
