Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in aligning recruitment strategies with organizational goals. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to recruitment policies and optimizing the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with established recruitment policies and procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics against defined targets.
- Collaborate with management and hiring leaders to address staffing needs.
- Create job advertisements and manage vacancy postings.
- Evaluate responses to job postings and analyze conversion rates.
- Source candidates and build local talent networks to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified applicants.
- Conduct pre-screening of candidates, arrange interviews, perform verification checks, extend job offers, and track candidate progress.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and develop strategies to minimize turnover rates.
- Compile and present daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment reports.
- Build trust and credibility through effective communication and relationship management.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment journey.
- Negotiate to achieve a high acceptance rate of job offers.
- Coordinate new hire orientation sessions with candidates and relevant staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- High energy levels and self-motivation.
- Experience in ground handling, cargo, or aviation sectors is advantageous.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in team settings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing information.
- Creative sourcing techniques are encouraged.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for recruitment events.
- Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
