Solution Consultant, Business Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Consultant to join our Amazon Business Professional Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their business goals by providing expert guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Engage with our largest and most complex customers, including Fortune 500 companies, to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Business Process Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' source-to-pay processes and systems to ensure we can provide a viable solution that meets their goals with Amazon Business.
- Solution Development: Recommend solutions to help customers adopt complex business features and identify potential risks/gaps and propose potential workarounds.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the sales team to provide status updates and insights learned during discovery with the customer, and relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams.
- Stakeholder Influence: Collaborate and influence key internal Amazon stakeholders to drive the evolution of Amazon Business platforms and technologies.
The Solution Consulting team sits within the Amazon Business Professional Services (ProServe) organization, which is dedicated to accelerating our customers' success, adoption, and spend. We accomplish this by guiding their journey with tools and services while building their confidence with insights and trusted resources.
Requirements- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
- Business Acumen: Experience translating customer needs into business requirements and positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
- Procurement Knowledge: Knowledge of procurement, procure-to-pay (P2P), and source-to-pay methods at enterprise businesses.
- Implementation Experience: 2+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience.
- Influencing and Change Management: Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level, and experience with change management.
- Procurement Expertise: 5+ years of implementing procurement and source-to-pay processes and solutions for enterprise customers.
