About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Application Platform Architect to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the strategy and implementation of our Business Intelligence System (BIS) Application Portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide processes and data governance.
  • Lead technology transformation planning to enable business transformation strategies, collaborating with domain architects to establish a comprehensive enterprise portfolio roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to govern technology platform integration, drive application simplification initiatives, and establish innovation and prototype frameworks.
  • Mentor application developers, integration teams, data specialists, and user experience teams to ensure alignment with enterprise platform strategy.
  • Establish and maintain a holistic view of our enterprise architecture capabilities and state of the union across our digital footprint.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a technology architect supporting application integration, application development, portfolio management, cloud services, and enterprise architecture.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise platform deployment, integration, and operations management.
  • 4+ years of experience with working knowledge of cloud architecture planning.
  • Experience in implementing enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program management roles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build/maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Leadership skills in leading meetings with diverse audiences (technical, senior management).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Business proficient level of English (with French a strong plus).
