Bombardier is seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Architect to lead the development and implementation of our enterprise-wide application portfolio. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, architecture, and governance of our applications, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide application strategy, aligning with business transformation goals
  • Lead technology transformation planning, enabling business transformation strategy
  • Govern cross-vendor technology platform integration and drive application simplification initiatives
  • Establish and maintain an enterprise architecture framework, governance, and standards
  • Mentor application developers, integration teams, and data specialists, aligning with enterprise platform strategy
  • Participate in architecture review board process, governance, and effectiveness
  • Monitor changes and advancements in technology to discover competitive advantages

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical programs
  • 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise platform deployment, integration, and operations management
  • 4 years of experience with working knowledge of cloud architecture planning
  • Experience in implementation of enterprise architecture framework (TOGAF or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years in program management role
  • Good understanding of cloud security principles (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS with Azure or AWS)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build/maintain long-term business relationships
  • Leadership skills in leading meetings with diversified audiences
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Business proficient level of English (with French a strong plus)
