Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at North Eastern Trucking Inc. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers, ensuring they meet safety and productivity standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on fleet performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor new drivers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate with dispatchers and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of goods, managing schedules and routes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Skills: MS Office, strong communication and leadership skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work under pressure and maintain a safe working environment.
