Job Title: Compensation Specialist
The Compensation Specialist role will report directly to the Senior Payroll Manager. This position is responsible for managing payroll processes for employees across Canada and the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for approximately 900 employees in Canada, ensuring precision in data management
- Address payroll-related inquiries and implement best practices
- Collaborate with the US payroll team to ensure data consistency
- Oversee payroll adjustments, retroactive payments, and other payroll modifications
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in payroll administration
- Understanding of human resources functions and strong customer service orientation
- Exceptional data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to uphold confidentiality standards
- Experience with payroll taxation is advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities
