Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior HCM & Payroll Functional Analyst to contribute to our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business process leaders and end users to gather project requirements.
  • Work alongside functional and development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure application design aligns with Aecon's operational processes.
  • Create functional specifications and assist in technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with security teams to manage application access roles.
  • Develop training materials and provide user support.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for production incidents and enhance application functionality.
  • Document and execute testing procedures, ensuring quality assurance.
  • Engage with internal IT departments to optimize workflows.
  • Support post-implementation activities and maintain best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in HCM & Payroll configuration.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to assess business impacts and troubleshoot integration challenges.

Specific Role Requirements:

  • Expertise in SAP Payroll, Time Management, and Benefits, with hands-on experience in implementation and support.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to configure SAP to meet specific payroll requirements.
