Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior HCM & Payroll Functional Analyst to contribute to our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business process leaders and end users to gather project requirements.
- Work alongside functional and development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure application design aligns with Aecon's operational processes.
- Create functional specifications and assist in technical documentation.
- Coordinate with security teams to manage application access roles.
- Develop training materials and provide user support.
- Conduct troubleshooting for production incidents and enhance application functionality.
- Document and execute testing procedures, ensuring quality assurance.
- Engage with internal IT departments to optimize workflows.
- Support post-implementation activities and maintain best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HCM & Payroll configuration.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to assess business impacts and troubleshoot integration challenges.
Specific Role Requirements:
- Expertise in SAP Payroll, Time Management, and Benefits, with hands-on experience in implementation and support.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ability to configure SAP to meet specific payroll requirements.
