Early Childhood Program Supervisor

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Early Childhood Program Supervisor at the Mikisew Awasis Early Learning Centre in La Ronge, SK.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support Early Childhood Education Program staff in delivering high-quality programs.
- Review and verify staff timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, support, and on-call staff duties.
- Assist childcare staff in planning and implementing activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of children.
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of equipment and facilities.
- Develop and maintain daily, monthly, and yearly plans to ensure program success.
- Ensure staff adherence to personnel policy manual, childcare policies, and guidelines.
- Assist the Early Childhood Program Manager with administrative duties and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain accurate and confidential client files.
- Compile monthly and yearly statistics on program participation, costs, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Attend and participate in workshops, meetings, seminars, and conferences as required.
- Minimum Level 3 Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in managing Early Learning Centers.
- Experience in developing programs for the center is an asset.
- First Aid, CPR, and Safe Food Handler's Certification are assets.
- Ability to communicate and build positive relationships with personnel, parents, and children.
- Patience, caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoyment of working with children.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check, and Driver's Abstract upon hire.
