The Western Corp is seeking a skilled Driver, Ready-Mix to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service.
  • Load and unload goods with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining detailed records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo during transportation, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the ready-mix industry.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Hardworking and physically demanding, with the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads as required.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
