About the Opportunity

Foremost is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician/Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations around the world to service our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct thorough startup and inspection of new equipment at customer locations.


• Diagnose and repair equipment issues at customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.


• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including adjusting equipment and replacing defective parts, components, or systems.


• Communicate effectively with customers to define repair scopes and ensure customer satisfaction.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service.


• Accurately document time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists.


• Perform other duties as required to support the service team.

Requirements:


• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician License preferred.


• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.


• Working knowledge of drilling equipment and transportation vehicles an asset.


• Self-motivated, fast learner, and ability to work independently.


• Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility/shop and in the field.


• Ability to work on call and overtime when required.


• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.


• Valid Driver's license (abstract required).


• Valid Passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions.


• Safety Training an asset but will train as required.
