About the Role

Brandt is seeking a skilled Electronics Field Service Technician to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our Construction & Forestry division, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and repairing machine control systems on heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Perform installations, calibrations, and repairs of machine control systems, including electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct inspections, testing, and diagnostics on electronic devices and components using various test equipment.
  • Work Order Management: Open, maintain, and close work orders, and submit technician reports and other relevant information.
  • Customer Support: Provide internal and external customer phone support, and mentor, train, and supervise other members of the service team.
  • Travel and Safety: Travel to job sites, and operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, and a college, university, or technical trade program in electronics.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in electronics installation and repair.
  • Skills: Strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and listening communication skills, ability to operate required equipment safely, and a commitment to quality and safety.
