About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at GOLD STANDARD SIDING LTD. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects.
  • Design and implement layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing precision measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various industries.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, requiring manual dexterity and strength.
