About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Whistler. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing top-notch service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergencies and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
- Perform small repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment, as well as daily meter readings and pool water chemical testing.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and make minor purchases as required.
- Assist skilled trade persons with tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Perform daily inspections of building systems, including boiler rooms, water entry, and HVAC.
- Provide general assistance to hotel staff and guests with maintenance-related issues.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school and relevant trade certification or engineering education.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
