Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to join our team at Highlight Motor Freight Inc. as a key member of our logistics and administration department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the logistics and administration team, including preparing and maintaining records, reports, and other documents.
  • Office Operations: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination and planning of office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and disposal of assets.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Private sector, urban area.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, and reliability.
