Job Title: Area Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to lead our Janitorial Services team in Ottawa-Kingston. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring high-quality standards, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the Janitorial Services scope of works at all store locations within the designated area or territory.
  • Oversee performance of Partners and Cleaners, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement annual plans by customer banners, including budgets, schedules, and potential add-on sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and business partners, promoting cross-selling and delivering excellent service.
  • Address customer concerns and provide timely solutions to problems.
  • Support Regional Management on face-to-face meetings with key customer stakeholders.
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly meetings with customer banners on store audits, case management, and action plans.
  • Lead or participate in store transition meetings with new customers and partners.
  • Process Compliance: Lead all process initiatives/implementation at store level, work with senior management on identifying store level trends and process gaps.
  • Manage business using United technologies provided (e.g., Salesforce/Outlook).
  • Oversee material ordering and in-store specials.
  • Conduct visitation audits & manage case management for issues and escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with A.Manage ID badging & uniform compliance for all Partners & cleaners.
  • Collect required inspections/reporting for billing purposes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in business administration or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in United technologies (e.g., Salesforce/Outlook).
