Position Overview
As a key player in our organization, you will:
- Engage with subject matter experts throughout the wholesale sector to shape external communication strategies and content.
- Design and execute both internal and external communication initiatives aligned with our strategic objectives and diverse partner groups.
- Facilitate alignment on divisional and enterprise priorities to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Enhance internal engagement by raising awareness of the significance of our business operations.
- Collaborate with business leaders to address current issues impacting the wholesale sector and its clientele.
- Guide and prepare executives to effectively communicate with various stakeholder groups.
- Develop essential communication materials to support our partnerships and initiatives.
- Proactively assess and incorporate emerging trends in communication strategies and engagement tools.
- Oversee and continually improve digital resources for wholesale clientele.
- Partner with senior members of the Corporate Communications team to implement overarching communication priorities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role supporting senior executives.
- Proven expertise in corporate communications, public relations, and issue management, with a track record of achieving desired outcomes in dynamic environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal communication channels, particularly in unionized settings.
- Experience in change management and effectively communicating critical programs to diverse audiences.
- The ability to craft integrated communication and engagement strategies that align with business objectives.
- A strategic mindset across various communication platforms in accordance with organizational goals.
- An interest in B2B communications, with a solid understanding of business operations.
