Senior Manager, Corporate Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to join our team at the LCBO. As a key member of our Corporate Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies that support our business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that align with our business priorities and objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the wholesale business to inform external communications plans and content.
- Work with business leaders to develop and implement internal communications strategies that engage and inform employees.
- Coach and prepare leaders to effectively communicate with stakeholder groups.
- Develop and maintain digital assets and communications channels to support our external communications efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications and apply this knowledge to inform our communications strategies.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced communications professional who has a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communications strategies. You will have a strong understanding of corporate communications principles and practices, as well as excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.
Key qualifications include:
- University degree in Communications or Public Relations or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, with at least 5 years at a manager level.
- Experience leading corporate communications, public relations, and issues management.
- Expertise in applying internal communications channels and touchpoints, including in a unionized environment.
- Ability to develop comprehensive integrated communications and engagement strategies.
