We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Spectrum Health Care. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing high-performing teams of Nurses, Personal Support Workers, and Allied Health professionals. Your primary goal will be to foster a collaborative, innovative, and learning-focused environment that aligns with our organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Key Responsibilities- Lead program development and design clinical workflows to support innovative models of care while effectively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Recruit and onboard team members, ensuring they have the necessary attributes, training, and skills, and support ongoing development and educational initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the team to consistently meet high care quality standards.
- Collaborate with operational leadership to implement and maintain exemplary practices.
- Address quality, safety, and risk issues, and develop improvement plans as needed.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators, initiating improvements or process changes when required.
- Contribute to improved client outcomes through evidence-informed practices and resource efficiency.
- Integrate client satisfaction plans, addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- Current CNO certificate as Registered Nurse, degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Manager, preferably in a community setting.
- Experience managing in a union environment is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods related to leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- A proven track record of effectively handling complaints and resolving conflicts.
- Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team.
- Ability to understand the different needs of various partners and ability to drive collaborative solutions.
- Client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a project from inception to execution to evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing is essential.
- A history of building strong professional relationships at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching, and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.
- Excellent judgment in setting priorities, identifying issues, and determining action required when working under pressure and deadlines.
