Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Spectrum Health Care. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing high-performing teams of Nurses, Personal Support Workers, and Allied Health professionals. Your primary goal will be to foster a collaborative, innovative, and learning-focused environment that aligns with our organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead program development and design clinical workflows to support innovative models of care while effectively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Recruit and onboard team members, ensuring they have the necessary attributes, training, and skills, and support ongoing development and educational initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor the team to consistently meet high care quality standards.
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to implement and maintain exemplary practices.
  • Address quality, safety, and risk issues, and develop improvement plans as needed.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators, initiating improvements or process changes when required.
  • Contribute to improved client outcomes through evidence-informed practices and resource efficiency.
  • Integrate client satisfaction plans, addressing concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Current CNO certificate as Registered Nurse, degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Manager, preferably in a community setting.
  • Experience managing in a union environment is an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods related to leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle.
