We are seeking a qualified candidate for the E-Commerce Solution Development Lead position at TORQ.

Position Overview

At Torq, a prominent consulting firm focused on PIM/MDM and E-Commerce initiatives, we are on the lookout for skilled and driven professionals eager to thrive in a dynamic environment that leverages both technical and business acumen.

In the capacity of the lead technical consultant, you will be expected to exhibit exceptional client and team management capabilities. A background in software development, business analysis, and project management is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Regularly interact with clients to ensure that technical solutions align with their expectations. Cultivate relationships with clients, serving as their primary contact.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure that projects adhere to timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business processes and determine how they can be effectively translated into technical solutions.
  • Technical Design: Collaborate with fellow leads and architects to create robust solutions that fulfill client needs while adhering to technical standards.
  • Mentorship: Offer technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering collaboration across teams to enhance learning.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering software applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading development projects or teams.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in drafting Statements of Work, Requirements Documents, and Project Status Reports.
  • Strong competency in software development and business systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, technical clients, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of web development principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in E-Commerce or PIM/MDM domains.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud architectures (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • A proven track record of self-directed learning and professional growth.
  • Experience in sales or client management roles.
