Position Overview

TORQ is a dynamic consulting firm focused on PIM/MDM and E-Commerce initiatives. We are on the lookout for skilled and driven professionals eager to thrive in a stimulating environment that leverages both technical and business acumen.

As the principal technical consultant, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional client engagement and team leadership capabilities. A background in software development, business analysis, and project oversight is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Regularly interact with clients to ensure that technical solutions align with their expectations. Foster relationships with clients, acting as their primary contact at TORQ, and identify additional initiatives where TORQ can provide support.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure that projects adhere to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Business Analysis: Comprehend business workflows and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Technical Design: Collaborate with fellow leads and architects to create robust solutions that fulfill client needs while adhering to technical standards.
  • Mentorship: Offer technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members, fostering collaboration across teams to enhance learning.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering software applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading development projects or teams.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in drafting Statements of Work, Requirements Documents, and Project Status Reports.
  • Strong foundation in software development and business systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with team members, technical clients, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of web development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in E-Commerce or PIM/MDM.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • A proven track record of self-directed learning and professional growth.
  • Experience in sales or client management.
