Job Description

**Job Title:** AWS Cloud Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at Foresters Financial Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications using AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Cloud Application Development: Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  • Cloud Security: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications, including identity and access management, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Optimize cloud costs by right-sizing instances, using spot instances, and implementing cost-effective storage solutions.
  • Cloud Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor cloud-based infrastructure and applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure high uptime and performance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or related field.
  • Skills: AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, cloud security, cloud cost optimization, cloud monitoring and troubleshooting.
