Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our cloud initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, translating them into effective cloud architectures, and ensuring the stability and performance of our clients' environments. Your deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies will be critical in driving innovation and maintaining the integrity of our solutions.


You will work closely with a team of skilled engineers, architects, and project managers to build, support, and troubleshoot cloud environments that meet our clients' diverse needs. Your role includes:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into secure, fault-tolerant, and highly available AWS cloud architectures.
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructures that align with best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing cloud environments to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the adoption of emerging AWS technologies, keeping the team updated on advancements and integrating them where beneficial.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards across all cloud deployments.

Experience


  • Proven experience in a Senior Cloud Engineer or Architect role with a minimum of 3 years, demonstrating expertise in designing and managing cloud infrastructures.
  • Strong proficiency in common cloud provisioning and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Extensive experience with the AWS platform and a deep understanding of its services, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and others.
  • Proficiency in administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or similar distribution) environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions that adhere to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in optimizing cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or similar is required.
