Human Resources Generalist Job Description

**About the Role**

Bureau Veritas is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our environmental laboratory, you will be responsible for administering human resources management for a team of approximately 50 employees.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide professional HR advice to clients and support the recruitment process, including developing job descriptions and conducting interviews
* Maintain historical HRIS data and administer the group insurance plan and retirement savings plan
* Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas policies and laboratory health and safety policies
* Participate in training sessions and collaborate with the recruitment team
* Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

**Requirements**

* University certificate in human resources or industrial relations; CHRP designation is an asset
* 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources
* Bilingual, both orally and in writing
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), databases, and HRIS modules
* Excellent planning, organization, analysis, decision-making, and implementation skills

**What We Offer**

* Generally normal opening hours, with occasional overtime
* Occasional travel to the Montreal area to other company sites
