About the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our environmental laboratory, you will be responsible for administering human resources management for a team of approximately 50 employees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide professional HR advice to clients and guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.
  2. Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives.
  3. Conduct interviews and assist the recruitment team in the hiring process.
  4. Participate in the onboarding and integration of new employees into the company.
  5. Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs.
  6. Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas policies and laboratory health and safety regulations.
  7. Administer employee files and maintain historical HRIS data.
  8. Manage group insurance and retirement savings plans.
  9. Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A university certificate in human resources or industrial relations.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in human resources.
  3. Bilingualism, both orally and in writing.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and HRIS modules.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
