Position Overview

The role of the Human Resources Systems Manager is pivotal in enhancing the operational efficiency of Saskatchewan Polytechnic's HR division. This position is responsible for delivering technological support that streamlines various HR functions, including HR Advisory Services, Health and Safety, and Employee Relations. A key aspect of this role is to unify the design and administration of diverse HR requirements, ensuring that technology is optimized for maximum service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic HR analytics frameworks that provide actionable insights to organizational leaders.
  2. Facilitate the sharing of analytical techniques within the HR team to enhance collective understanding and application of data-driven decision-making.
  3. Prioritize the human element in data management, ensuring that data collection aligns with exceptional client service standards.
  4. Ensure that all employees have straightforward access to HR-related information and services.
  5. Establish and uphold a model for client service standards, ensuring timely and effective support.
  6. Collaborate in the development and maintenance of effective HR service practices.
  7. Engage with clients to ascertain their needs and strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with HR services.
  8. Utilize data stewardship to address business challenges, facilitating informed decision-making through effective data solutions.
  9. Maintain comprehensive documentation of HR protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with privacy standards.
  10. Analyze data trends to support operational and institutional planning initiatives.
  11. Ensure that data management practices comply with institutional requirements and relevant legislation.
  12. Contribute to the formulation and execution of innovative human resources policies and programs.
  13. Oversee HR operational and reporting budget management.
  14. Build and nurture positive relationships within the HR team and with external stakeholders.
  15. Collaborate closely with various HR teams to understand the implications of program and system implementations.
Qualifications and Skills

A relevant post-secondary degree, complemented by specialized training in human resources, along with a minimum of five years of experience in HR analytics. Leadership experience and a solid understanding of progressive HR practices are essential. Familiarity with various HRIS platforms and statistical analysis tools, as well as experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, will be advantageous.
