About the Position

We are seeking a motivated individual to become part of our expanding team as a Claims Support Specialist II within our National Document Team. This team is tasked with the collection, evaluation, and organization of documents related to claims, subsequently transferring them to the legal department. In this role, you will provide essential administrative assistance to both our Claims and Legal teams. This position offers the chance to engage with various centers of excellence within our operations. You will deliver high-quality service and ensure the efficient and professional execution of your responsibilities, adhering to corporate policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access relevant claims systems to retrieve necessary documents.
  • Evaluate, organize, and rename documents for storage in the legal document management system for the legal team's review.
  • Eliminate duplicate documents as needed.
  • Communicate with claims and legal team members when documents are ready for assessment.
  • Meet and adhere to established service level agreements.
  • Identify and propose process enhancements to management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or College degree, including training in business or administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • A minimum of three months of related experience in an administrative or clerical capacity.
  • Exceptional time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong accuracy in handling documents and completing tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in meeting deadlines and service level agreements.
  • Proficient computer skills with standard office applications.
  • Ability to identify, interpret, and organize documents at a high level.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
